He cycles 3900km for Syria

During the summer 2018, our friend Gianluca has taken part in the 'TRANSCONTINENTAL' : a cycle race from Belgium to Greece - where participants are completely self-supported - in support of NAZRA SYRIA.

Despite the huge physical and mental challenge (check out his itinerary), Gianluca completed the race till the end.

THANK YOU to all of you who took part in our kitty or sponsored him by the km. Thanks to you, we have raised more than 7200 € for our projects in Syria

  • Who is Gianluca?

Our favourite cyclist introduces himself and explains why he has chosen to support Nazra.

  • Training on a daily basis

The race is approximately 3700km long, with an elevation of 53,000 metres (equivalent to what Gianluca usually covers in 1 year).
These will be 2 weeks of "intense pain" as he puts it.
Gianluca will also have to buy his own food and find his own places to sleep.

He is training on a daily basis for this challenge!
